Seraph Cars are delighted to present to market this 2005 (54 Reg) Dodge Ram SRT-10 8.3 V10 Quad Cab Automatic, finished in the extremely rare and striking Bright Silver Metallic Clear Coat.
This particular vehicle is well known to us, having previously been supplied and sold by Seraph Cars in 2021, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to offer it to the market once again.
The Dodge Ram SRT-10 is quite simply one of the most outrageous performance trucks ever produced.
Developed by Dodge’s legendary Street and Racing Technology (SRT) division, the SRT-10 took the enormous 8.3-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine from the Dodge Viper and installed it into a full-size American pick-up truck.
The result was a vehicle unlike almost anything before or since.
In Quad Cab specification, the SRT-10 combines genuine five-seat practicality and a huge load bed with the character and performance of its Viper-derived V10 engine. The Quad Cab was paired with a heavy-duty four-speed automatic transmission, making it a remarkably usable performance truck despite its extraordinary specification.
Under the bonnet sits the legendary 8.3-litre Viper V10, producing approximately 500 bhp and 525 lb-ft of torque when new.
Its specification went considerably further than simply installing the Viper engine. The SRT-10 received a specially developed chassis and suspension set-up, uprated braking system, distinctive SRT body styling, bonnet scoop, unique front and rear treatments and enormous 22-inch SRT alloy wheels.
Inside, the sporting theme continues with its SRT instrumentation, performance-inspired interior detailing and spacious Quad Cab configuration.
It is a wonderfully excessive piece of American engineering and a vehicle from an era that is unlikely ever to be repeated.
Naturally aspirated, V10-powered, rear-wheel drive and unmistakably American, the SRT-10 has developed a strong enthusiast following and good examples are becoming increasingly difficult to source.
This example is particularly appealing due to its Bright Silver Metallic Clear Coat finish, which suits the muscular lines of the SRT-10 superbly and is a considerably rarer sight than the more commonly encountered colours.
Having recently returned to us, we have undertaken an extensive programme of preparation to ensure the truck presents to the standard we would expect.
It has just received a brand-new MOT and has had several thousand pounds spent on its preparation, including paintwork correction, underside detailing and a comprehensive inspection carried out by our American vehicle specialist.
